ABOUT
Sandra Cameron
Counsellor
Born to Swiss and Scottish parents, I am a bilingual counsellor who studied and grew up in Vaud. I graduated from the International School of Geneva, La Châtaigneraie, in 2004 and then went on to do a BA in Psychology and an MA in counselling at Webster University, Geneva.
Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to create and develop a counselling service at an International School in the area where I continue to counsel children across primary and secondary, as I develop my own counselling practice for children, adolescents and adults.

I am passionate about animals and have also trained in Equine Assisted Therapy with EAGALA in the United States.
My Approach
Trained to use an integrative approach to counselling, I believe in the importance of using different techniques in order to tailor the best therapeutic tools to support my clients. The essence of my work is to facilitate self growth by helping my clients identify the core challenges and setbacks in their lives, so that they can overcome them with confidence.
I use a variety of techniques depending on the age and need of my clients, including creative techniques, narrative therapy, talk therapy, CBT, play therapy and more, to help with issues such as
-
depression
-
anxiety
-
self esteem
-
trauma
-
relationship problems
-
anger
-
transitions
-
grief
